02 / What the website is for

Start with the job.
Design around it.

A better website starts with a specific customer task, then brings the content, design and next step together.

01

Help people understand.

Make the offer clear. Bring services, products and the details people compare into a useful, readable structure.

02

Make the next step easy.

Connect the information to the action: an enquiry, a visit, a call or an existing booking or checkout service.

03

Make ownership practical.

Define what your team can update, who handles technical changes and how the website stays in your control.

03 / How we work

From the first look
to a site that’s yours.

You should know what is being built, what it costs and who is responsible for the next step.

Discuss your website
  1. Understand the job.

We look at the current website, the customer task that matters and the practical alternatives. A focused improvement may be the right scope.

  2. Show the direction.

A working concept makes the proposed experience tangible. Sample content and features that need approval or connection are clearly labelled.

  3. Agree the whole scope.

Pages, content, revisions, responsibilities, price and payment stages are agreed before paid production begins.

  4. Launch. Then hand over.

Check the agreed work on its real hosting, practise routine updates and hand over the accounts, materials and support responsibilities.

04 / Scope & ownership

A fixed price.
A defined project.

The quote follows the pages, content, integrations, editing needs and handover you actually need. Scope and payment stages are agreed before you commit.

Applicable taxes, hosting and approved third-party charges are identified separately.

Your business. Your website.
  • Your domain, hosting and account access.
  • Routine editing defined and demonstrated.
  • Technical changes have an agreed owner.
  • Care is optional. Responsibilities are clear.

Practical control, with the responsibilities made clear.

05 / A few useful answers

Good questions.
Clear answers.

Do I need a completely new website?

Not necessarily. We start with the task your customers or staff need to do better. If a focused change to your current site is enough, that should shape the scope. Your existing provider can remain involved where appropriate.

Can my team update the website?

Routine editing is defined in the scope and demonstrated before handover. Depending on the project, that can include menu items, prices, hours, notices or selected content. Layout changes and integrations need an agreed technical owner; we do not promise that every part is freely editable.

Who owns the accounts and hosting?

Your business controls the domain, hosting and account access. The agreed handover includes the website materials, individual access and recovery information. Hosting, domain renewals and approved third-party subscriptions are identified separately.

Is an ongoing care plan required?

No. Care is optional. Updates, backups and support still need an agreed owner, whether that is your current provider or a separately agreed service. The project scope makes those responsibilities clear.

How are price and timing agreed?

You receive a fixed quote for an agreed scope, with payment milestones before committing. The delivery window follows confirmed content, access and technical responsibilities. Applicable taxes, hosting and approved third-party costs are stated separately.

Are the concept sites real client websites?

No. Aster House and Northline are fictional brands created to demonstrate design and customer journeys. They are original concept sites, not client engagements or evidence of business results. Their enquiry forms are previews: they do not make bookings or send messages.
